April 20th, 2021
To the students, teachers, and staff of Ehle Institute
School Principal Daisaku Hagihara
【Urgent Notice】
Starting tomorrow April 21st, hybrid classes are cancelled, all classes to be held online
Due to the recent rapid spread of covid-19 in Osaka Prefecture, a request for the Japanese Government to re-declare a state of emergency has been made by the Osaka Prefectural Government. Furthermore, in the Kinki Area, cluster infection has been detected at Universities and High Schools resulting in the temporary closing of schools.
Therefore, Ehle Institute has urgently decided that all classes will be held exclusively online, starting tomorrow. Online classes will continue until May 5th, after the Golden week holidays. We will then decide on further measures based on the situation just before the holidays.
We would like to inform the teachers and students of the following points:
- Hybrid classes are cancelled. Students will participate in classes online at their own homes.
- Students who are unable to connect to the Internet, are allowed to use the self-study rooms at school. However, there is a limited amount of available spaces so please consult your mentor or the school office beforehand.
- Teachers will conduct the online classes in the allotted classrooms at school.
- Students are allowed to come to school to apply for certificates or to talk to their mentor.
- Please take measures to avoid infection even outside of school hours.
- In case of infection, or if you have been in contact with someone infected, please contact the school.
End of notice
