Announcement regarding the continuation of online classes due to the prolonged state of emergency

May 29th, 2021

To the faculty members and students of Ehle Institute

Ehle Institute
Principal Daisaku Hagihara

Announcement regarding the continuation of online classes due to the prolonged state of emergency

The state of emergency in Osaka prefecture has once again been prolonged until June 20th. There are still many new cases of infection in Osaka. Because of this situation, we have decided to continue with online classes until June 20th. Students are allowed to come to school to apply for documents and talk with their mentors, but we ask you to take caution to avoid infection.

We ask our students to avoid going outside unless necessary, not participate in parties or events and act responsibly.

We will decide on the start of face-to-face classes based on instructions by the authorities, as well as by judging the infection situation among the faculty members, students, and Osaka Prefecture as a whole, as soon as the state of emergency is removed.
Please understand that even after the state of emergency is lifted, classes will be resumed with a sufficient preparation period to avoid confusion regarding attendance for our faculty members and students.

Notice of Date of Change from Online Classes to Combined Classes

Due to the recent spread of Covid-19 and the declaration of a state of emergency in Osaka prefecture, Ehle Institute has cancelled the combined online and face-to-face combined classes which started in April and are currently conducting online classes only.

The date for the restart of combined classes will be determined by observing the development of covid-19. Ehle Institute will base the decision on whether the state of emergency is removed, and will follow the instructions by the Osaka Prefectural Government. The state of emergency is currently scheduled to end on Tuesday, May 11th, so we will wait for that decision and plan to restart the combined classes on Monday, May 17th.

However, depending on the spread of the virus, there is a chance that the period for online lessons will be prolonged, in which case we will make further announcements. Please make sure to check incoming e-mail and the Ehle Institute webpage.

Due to the recent rapid spread of covid-19 in Osaka Prefecture, a request for the Japanese Government to re-declare a state of emergency has been made by the Osaka Prefectural Government. 3. Teachers will conduct the online classes in the allotted classrooms at school.
  4. Students are allowed to come to school to apply for certificates or to talk to their mentor.
  5. Please take measures to avoid infection even outside of school hours.
